Greetings to all Bethesda Chevy-Chase High School Alumni. I am very excited to announce our 10-year reunion slated for November 27, 2004. The reunion will take place at the Barking Dog (formerly Nantucket Landing, home of our after-prom), 4723 Elm St., Bethesda.

A committee has been formed for the organization of the reunion. This committee consists of myself, Natalie Quashie (Class President), Marcia Morales (Web Executive), Mildred Hodge (Finance) and Evelyn Morales (Alumi Database Administrator). The committee was initiated by the efforts of Kim Schaffer, who contacted me last year to help organize a local committee.

Many of you have contacted the committee wanted to know more specifics about the actual event. Class Of 1994 reunion will take place at The Barking Dog (Formerly Nantucket Landing, home of our after-prom) on 4723 Elm Street in Bethesda. We have established a bank account so that alumni do not have to make personal checks out to an individual member of this committee, instead checks are to be made out to B-CC Class of 1994. We have paid to register our class reunion at Classmates.com so that information about the reunion could be accessed from the internet. The committee has generated a mass mailing of invitations based on researched contact information on all of you (I hope you received it).
I f you know of any B-CC alumni, pass on this info and encourage them to send in payments ASAP. (Alumni also include anyone who went to Westland or B-CC with us in our class that may not have necessarily graduated from B-CC with us)

At this time, we have invested countless hours and monies towards the planning of our reunion. To initiate the planning of the reunion, the committee has allocated personal funds to retain the location, bank account and classmates.com account. Now we need the help of the Alumni. We need monies immediately. The amount of Alumni response will dictate what kind of food we will serve, whether there will be a dj, what kind of activities we can plan, whether there will be keepsakes for you to take home, and what kind of decorations we will have.

In these times we are in now, I appreciate more the experiences I had at B-CC. The people, the camaraderie, all make our class very special. I hope that we can all unite in November and celebrate 10 years of marriages, successes, births and life. The committee and the rest of your classmates look forward to seeing you!!
