With the end of the COVID-19 pandemic in sight, thankfully, we had lots to celebrate. It had been 8 years since our last Class of ’71 gathering when most of us turned 60. With vaccines readily available and everything beginning to open up completely, a questionable date a year before was then solid: October 2, 2021. We had our deposit down for some time on the Chevy Chase Village Hall (Oct. 2), and we hired an event planner to make sure everything went off without a hitch. We also had secured the Rooftop at the Henri at Pike and Rose, 11870 Grand Park Ave, in North Bethesda for our Friday Night gathering (Oct 1). We had established several levels of participation that were singled out for recognition (except those who wanted to be anonymous) in the program and at the reunion. Contribution Levels: • Baron $2,500 or more • Platinum $1,000-$2,499 • Gold $500-$999 • Silver $250-$499 • Blue & Gold $71 up to $249. We are continuing to focus on finding as many classmates as possible. Please let us know other classmates’ email addresses and/or phone numbers. 1983 Back to Top	November 28 and 29, 2003	Park Hyatt, Washington, DC (Friday) and Candy Cane City (Saturday)	The Class of 1983 had a great 20th Reunion, over Thanksgiving weekend, 2003. On Nov. 28 afternoon , (day after Thanksgiving), more than 100 alums and families showed up at B-CC for a tour of the renovated school, led by classmate John Zehner who now teaches at B-CC. Dinner was at Park Hyatt (Washington, DC) that evening, and a family picnic was held at Candy Cane City the following afternoon. 1950 Back to Top	June 2007	Tenaya Lodge near Yosemite National Park's south entrance	Class of 1950 had a "mini-reunion" in June of 2007 at Yosemite National Park, California. Ron Wenninger was the organizer of the event. That was the fourth in a series of mini-reunions that were held off-site, that is, away from Bethesda. These were: Ouray, CO in 1995, Woodstock, VT in 1998, and Sedona, AZ in 2002. Like the others, the 2007 reunion spanned five days and included many group activities. In honor of their 40th year since graduating from B-CC High School, the Class of 1976 is raising money for a class gift to the school via the B-CC High School Educational Foundation.
