B-CC students are part of a group that has created The Museum of Contemporary American Teenagers – a pop-up that will be in Bethesda starting this week. B-CC teacher, Mr. Lopilato nurtured this idea through his anthropology class. The class used “ethnography” to document student ideas and experiences across the region with the goal of using the shared experiences of high school seniors to bridge some of the social and political divide in our country. The students have included much of the content they generated from this work in the museum exhibits.
The museum is open December 7 (RSVP Required), 8th, 9th, 14th, 15th and 16th.
Congrats to Mr. Lopilato and the students on this innovative exhibit
